JOY IN DIFFICULT TIMES

Let's check out a few things with the Bible. In Matthew 24, Jesus gives us MANY signs that SHOW us that we are living in the Last Days.
Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (KJV) . . . In Matthew 24, Jesus said that when ALL these signs are occurring simultaneously throughout the world, we would know that His Second Coming is very near. Is this right? Look for yourself!

Matthew 24:4-12 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (KJV) . . . Many saying they are Christ, deception, wars, rumors of wars, nation rising against nation, famines, disease, earthquakes in many places, Christians hated, betrayals, rampant hatred, false prophets deceiving multitudes with damnable heresies. ALL these things are here, increasing in intensity daily.

Demonic spirits are telling the leaders of the New World Order that the time has come for the world to finally enter the New Age of Peace and Safety, the New World Order.

I believe it is time for us to really get serious and prepare for the Rapture of the Church and Jesus' Second Coming. It is time for every believer to purge our hearts before God. We should honestly acknowledge all those things we do that so displease Him, and beg for forgiveness through the precious and Holy Blood of Jesus. It is high time for TRUE "born again" believers have a heart-felt burden about the unsaved of this world, and get down on our knees and pray for them. And we should STOP putting off being a witness to them so they might be saved.

IF we would do this, then and only then, will we will realize tremendous love, joy and peace. Consider some of the wonderful Promises God has made to us!

Psalms 118:8-9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. 9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes. (KJV) . . . This Passage is really the theme of the whole Bible. It tells us of God's absolute sovereignty over the lives and the affairs of this whole world. Peter tells us this same Truth!

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (KJV) . . . What comfort! Since God controls the leaders of the nations and since He is absolutely sovereign, we can place all our worries and cares into His hands.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (KJV) . . . God loves us and it is His desire and ability to take care of His children.

Hebrews 13:5-6 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. (KJV) . . . God clearly tells us that He will never, ever leave us without His assistance in this life. We do NOT have to worry about how we will live, eat, and take care of what we NEED (not want) in this life.
