FALSE DOCTRINES

"Damnable Heresies"

There are a multitude of false doctrines in these last days. I will attempt to bring you a few. False doctrine is a very real danger to your eternal soul. PLEASE check out each and every sermon and every piece of literature that you come in contact with, with the Holy Word of God, the Bible . . . including what I write. Humans can be wrong, God is NEVER wrong! If what you hear or read opposes what God states in His Book, do NOT have anything to do with it!

My Purpose in Life

It is my goal to present TRUE Christian Doctrine as is found in the Word of God, The Holy Bible. But with so much false doctrines today, HOW can a person really know what is true and what is false? False teachers are running rampant in Churches today, and they are extremely popular! I said something about Joel Osteen’s false teaching once to someone and they jumped down my throat!

Not too many years ago, it was easy to tell false doctrine from true. But as the saying goes, "If you tell a lie long enough, it starts to sound like the truth." For a long time the main areas of false teaching in the Christian church was found in: Catholics, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, (Mormon) Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Science and others.

But, today many false teachings that were part of the cults and Eastern religions, like Buddhism and Hinduism are now readily accepted and taught in what was once thought to be sound Bible churches. Today, what appears to be "Christian churches," are teaching things that are far from what the Bible teaches.

Consider the following: Genesis 3:4-5 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. (KJV) This lie of Satan, that men can become gods that was first taught by the devil in the Garden of Eden. It still IS taught in The Mormon church today! It is an absolute FALSE teaching, that was in the past found only in the kingdom of the cults and the New Age Movement.

BUT, in today’s so-called “Christian” churches, this and other false teachings are being taught by well liked and respected false teachers like Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Hagin and others. Creflo Dollar says "we are gods" and spends several minutes showing from the Bible about animals begetting "after their kind." He says, "horses beget horses, dogs beget dogs." He then moves on to say that since we are made in God's image then "we are gods" because God begets gods. Creflo Dollar does not say that we are "made in God's image.” My friend, we are NOT Begotten, we are made in God's image, meaning that we have the capacity to think, feel, and know God, and that we have a soul (spirit), Pro.20:27; Job 32:8. We have a soul, spirit and body (1 Thes.5:23), triune humans, as our Holy God is a Triune God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost!

Many modern movements are very popular and considered by many to be welcome additions to the church to reach more people. But they are preaching another Jesus! 2 Cor. 11:3-4 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. [4] For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. (KJV)

They are preaching another Gospel! Gal.1:6-9 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: [7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. [8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. [9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. (KJV) Let him be accursed, meaning anathema. Also see: 1 Cor.12:3; 16:22. We are to express the greatest possible hatred and disgust of any other doctrine than that which the Bible teaches! Any other gospel means that it is man adding OR subtracting something from God’s Holy Word (Deut.4:2; Rev.22:18).

There are so many modern (times have changed) movements that are getting more and more accepted in today’s backsliding world! Beware of the following: the Word of Faith movement, (the Health and Wealth gospel), The Seeker Friendly Church, (trying to pay people to come to their church), The Emergent Church and others brought into the "Christian church" through such popular but extremely dangerous books as "The Purpose Driven Life," and others.

Mat.16:6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. (KJV) Mat.16:12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. (KJV) False doctrine is rampant everywhere! Beware!

Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV) ALL cults are guilty of this!

1 Tim. 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (KJV)

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (KJV)

2 Peter 3:17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. (KJV)

Pro.19:27 Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge. (KJV) If you stop paying attention to what God's Word says, and listen to false doctrine of cults, you will soon stray far away from God and His goodness and the only true knowledge there is.

What are they teaching? But more importantly, what are they leaving out? BEWARE!!! The devil wants you in Hell with him!
