What Is To Come

Matthew 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed. (KJV)
Mark 8:12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation. (KJV)
The generation at that time was incapable of realizing the value of such signs, and would never appreciate them. This truly reveals the problem that God has with mankind . . . getting them to have faith in Him and His Divine Plan. God was under NO obligation to satisfy any more of their demands of unbelief and willful rejection of the countless signs that were being manifest daily. They wanted more proof that Jesus was the Messiah. He was there in their midst, preaching and teaching as no other had done (Jn.7:46) so He left them to their own destiny because they simply would not believe no matter how many "signs" He would do.

In today's world, people are just as "wicked and adulterous" and just as much unbelieving as the generation when Jesus walked the Earth. We do not have Him with us as they did, but we do have the Bible and we do have some faithful servants who try to bring the Truth of the Bible to people. We are to walk by faith. Col. 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: (KJV) Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (KJV)

Yet so many yet today are still looking for signs. Jesus tells us in Matthew 24, some of those clues to look for as we walk this Earth. This article will give some clues as to Jesus' coming in the Rapture.

The Bible clearly states that Jesus COULD return at any time (Mat.24:36-44; 25:13; Mk.13:33-37; Lk.12:35-40; 21:36). Since we do NOT know when He shall come, we would be wise to "WATCH"! That means pay attention to how you are living. If you are living in continued sin, you will NOT be taken at the Rapture. You will be "left behind" to face the Great Tribulation horrors! BEWARE!!!

The "Rapture" is "a catching up" of the TRUE "born again" believers. There are multitudes today who call themselves "Christians." Many cults call themselves "Christians" when they are not. Many professing Christians are nothing but hypocrites, living in continued sin without any repentance whatsoever. Am I judging? No, I am not. I am not capable to judge anyone. I am just stating Truths from the Bible. But this I do know, NO one will be able to fool Jesus. When He comes in those clouds, NO blasphemer, NO hypocrite, NO liar, NO rejecter of Jesus, NO sinner in continued, willing disobedience to God, NO unbeliever . . . shall meet the Lord Jesus in the air.
1 Thes. 4:14-18 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Cor. 15:50-54 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. The word "Rapture" is not in the Bible, but as you see, its doctrine is clearly taught. The Rapture is the next prophetic event to take place on God's calendar. After the Rapture takes place, the seven year Tribulation follows. See some astonishing things below that we see today that seem to be leading up to the tribulation period. We are truly in the last days and very close to the "Rapture" of the church.

#1. The Birth of Israel (May 14, 1948). Literally thousands of Jews have returned to the land of Israel in the past years. Even more so since 1991 when the iron curtain fell in Russia. Jesus said: Mat. 24:32-34 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (KJV) . . . Supposedly, a generation is 70-100 years.

#2. Jerusalem is not trodden down of the Gentiles any longer. Luke 21:24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. (KJV) . . . Does this mean the times of the Gentiles has been fulfilled?

#3. International Conflict over Israel. So much fighting and killing in Israel now. The news is constantly updating the events happening in the Mideast.

#4. Temple has to be rebuilt. There have been several unsuccessful attempts to lay foundation stones. Arab opposition has stopped them. The Jews have the instruments for sacrifice and worship already made and waiting to be used in the temple.

#5. The whole world will see the dead bodies of the two witnesses. Rev. 11:8-9 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. 9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. (KJV) . . . One hundred years ago this would have been impossible. Today it is common to see things happening on the other side of the world through satellite TV or internet.
#6. Wars and rumors of war. Mat. 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. (KJV)
War is everywhere! thousands of treaties have been made and broken. There is fighting in nearly every nation. Weapons are being used that are horrendous, and worsened daily.

#8. False Christs, false doctrines, false religions. Mat. 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (KJV) . . .

#9. One World System, "The New World Order. Rev. 13:4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? (KJV) . . . During the Gulf War, President Bush Sr. constantly used the term "New World Order."

#10. One World religion: Ecumenical Movement. Rev. 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. (KJV) . . . The majority of mainline churches today are "joining hands" toward an ecumenical one world religious system. This is exactly what the Antichrist wants.

#11. Knowledge shall be increased: Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. (KJV) . . . The main claim of "knowledge increased" refers to people understanding the prophecies of the book of Daniel, but, many believe that this prophecy also applies to an increasing knowledge of science, medicine, travel, and technology. It is said that 80% percent of the world's total knowledge has been brought forth in the last decade and that 90% percent of all the scientists who have ever lived are alive today.
The vast majority of the world will be without God and without hope when Jesus returns at the Rapture, but, the Bible also tells us that many people will understand, prepare, and be ready. Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. (KJV)

#12. The Bible predicts a time is coming when it will be too late to search the Scriptures. Amos 8:11-13 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: 12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. 13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst. #13. Fast travel: Nahum 2:4 The chariots shall rage in the streets, they shall justle one against another in the broad ways: they shall seem like torches, they shall run like the lightnings. (KJV) . . . Have we not seen this? Speed limits on highways are 70-80 MPH. Air travel gets us from one end of the world to the other. NASA has been to the moon in rockets.

#14. People will NOT endure sound doctrine: 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. #15. Scoffers will come in the Last Days: 2 Peter 3:3-4 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. (KJV) . . . Do you believe the Rapture will happen in your lifetime? Only a "few" do. Most of the world scoff and ridicule those of us who do.

#16. Falling away: 2 Thes.2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; (KJV) . . . Look around! The apostasy is horrendous! Very few have faith in God, fewer yet trust Him with their souls.

#17. Iniquity and lawlessness: Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. (KJV) . . . What are some of these evil things? Adultery, fornication, homosexuality, crimes of all kinds, cheating, corruption, greed, lying, stealing, terrorism, violence, etc. It is ALL around us, getting worse with each passing day.

#18. Lukewarm "Christians": Revelation 3:14-17 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: (KJV) . . . #19. Men will effeminate, no longer leaders, women will rule: 1 Cor.6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, (KJV) . . . Open your eyes! Men are getting less and less dominate in government and homes.

#20. Disobedient to parents: 2 Tim. 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, (KJV) . . . ALL these things are TRUE!

#21. Increase in astrology, demon activity, satanism and witchcraft: 1 Tim. 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; (KJV) . . . Consider the following: Animal sacrifices, human sacrifices, "Christian" Rock, Rock and Roll, Harry Potter, Black Magic, White Magic, Voodoo, etc. It's ALL happening closer to you than you might expect!

#22. Perilous times will come: 2 Tim. 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. (KJV) . . . Adultery, pornography, sex crimes on babies, sodomy, stealing, nakedness, blood, violence, horrible video games, KILL, KILL, KILL!!!

#23. Increase in drugs: Rev. 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. (KJV) . . . Alcohol, tobacco, prescription drugs, marijuana, cocaine . . . sorceries = enchantment with drugs.

#24. European Common Market: Daniel chapters 2 & 7; Rev. chapters 13 & 17. As of January 1, 2002 the EU has its own currency called a Euro Dollar. For the first time since the Roman Empire can you buy a loaf of bread and a bottle of wine with the same money in any European country.

#25. The rise of Antichrist: Daniel 11:37-38 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. 38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. (KJV) Rev. 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. (KJV) . . . He will come as a great peacemaker, and gain control over the world, then go back on his word and be the worst dictator this world has ever seen (Rev.6).

#26. False peace: 1 Thes. 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. (KJV) . . . Antichrist will make a peace treaty with Israel, then halfway through break it.

#27. Peace treaty broken: Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (KJV) . . . See: (Rev. 6:2-4) . . . Even now there is much talking in Israel about having a peace treaty with the Palestinians.

#28. 666 . . . the number of his name, and the mark of that number he will insist ALL people have. Rev.13:16-17 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. (KJV) . . . This number is already showing up in various places. Just about all products now carry the bar code. IF you were to go through the Great Tribulation, consider the following:

What will happen to all those who accept the mark of Antichrist? Rev. 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. (KJV) . . . Accepting that demonic mark, leaves NO hope whatsoever for eternal life in Heaven. You are doomed for the Lake of Fire!

WHAT will happen to all those who refuse to accept the mark of Antichrist? Rev. 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (KJV) . . . Rejecting that demonic mark will most likely mean you will be killed at that time, BUT your eternal soul will be bound for Heaven, NOT Hell!

My friend, if you died tonight, are you 100% sure that you would be called in the clouds with Jesus in the Rapture? Are you sure that you would go to Heaven? The Bible says, that you can be.
