BEWARE of FALSE DOCTRINES
We hear of so many Bible messages on "The rapture!" BEWARE!!! Do not be deceived by so-called Bible teachers who are teaching something that opposes what the Word of God states! Always check things out, no matter who is saying or writing them, including me.
When you hear or read anything about the Rapture/Resurrection, or ANY Biblical topic, please do so with a prayerful spirit. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand if it is true or not . . . because there is SO many heresies out there. 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. (KJV)
The Bible clearly shows a united Resurrection/Rapture. If we are honest about the matter, we see that today’s churches are really disregarding the timing of the resurrection of the righteous dead. We need to ask what few dare to ask. WHEN is this resurrection of the righteous dead?
My friend, the timing of the Rapture is linked to the timing of the Resurrection, because they are a JOINT event. I think the answer to this question is that many are tempted by the devil himself into NOT asking. But we must ask the question, and then we must proceed in earnest to answer it faithfully and truthfully from the Holy Word of God. So here is our question again.
When is the Resurrection of the righteous dead?
Many 'Christians' argue for the right to suffer persecution at the hands of the Antichrist and the one world government. These people say, "Because Jesus and His disciples suffered persecution, we should expect no better." The Bible does NOT tell us we will go through the Tribulation, but instead tells us the exact opposite. And I thank God that it does!
1 Thes. 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. (KJV)
1 Thes. 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, (KJV)
Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. (KJV)
Do you SEE what these Scriptures say? TRUE children of God will NOT go through the Tribulation period!
In one way, people who think the Church will go through the Tribulation are correct. I believe there is a vast number people, who SAY they are Christians . . . that shall find themselves left behind AFTER the Rapture takes place. I believe that there are millions who PROFESS to be “Christians” who are really NOT God’s TRUE children at all! IF a person does not POSSESS Christ Jesus in their hearts and life, they are NOT TRUE children of God (saints, believers in Jesus).
Because the judgment of the Rapture comes BEFORE the Tribulation, all those who find themselves facing the holy and righteous wrath of God will be without excuse. I say the judgment of the Rapture because the Rapture really is a time of JUDGMENT! It is a time when Jesus shall catch up (1 Thes.4:17) only TRUE believers who have faith in Him, up into the clouds to be with Him for ever . . . and He shall leave the unbelievers and doubters behind.
1 Thes. 4:14-17 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (KJV)
No Secret Rapture?
"There is no secret rapture" is one of the main statements of many that attack the Rapture. This statement cannot be backed up by Scriptures, because #1. People will quote Rev 1:17, "every eye shall see him," as proof that the Rapture will not be a secret event. Revelation 1:17 does NOT refer to the Rapture when Jesus comes in the clouds to take the TRUE church home with Him! It refers to Jesus’ Second Coming when He comes to the Earth (Rev.19:11-21) when every eye shall indeed see him. #2. Pre-trib teaching makes it a point to do our very best to spread the news about the Rapture BEFORE the Tribulation takes place.
Pre-trib supporters do NOT preach a secret rapture. Think about this . . . after the Rapture, with all the car wrecks, plane crashes and missing persons, those left must admit that the Rapture is the answer to WHERE they went! The only people who are trying to keep the pre-trib Rapture a secret are its critics. Pre-wrath and post-trib teachings have the national media and the liberal churches on their side in their constant effort to silence all knowledge of the "blessed hope" (Tit.2:13).
An imminent or any moment Rapture is one of the main teachings of pre-tribulationists. Opponents of the pre-trib view desperately try to rip apart the immanency (could happen at any moment) doctrine of the Rapture.
Matthew 24:42-44 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. 43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (KJV)
Matthew 25:13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh. (KJV)
Mark 13:33-37 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch. (KJV)
Luke 12:35-40 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; 36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. 37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. 38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. (KJV)
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.(KJV)
Opponents of pre-trib beliefs claim the above Scriptures apply only to the unsaved. Their arguments like, "A loving father would tell His children when He is coming for them."
No matter how much these people mess around with Scripture, pre-trib critics simply cannot escape Jesus' Words against NOT knowing the time of the Rapture. Our Lord was so very clear about the time of the Rapture, He said its arrival would come as a total surprise. "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh." (Mat. 24:44).
Now, consider what the Bible states about the Second Coming of Jesus to the Earth . . . this too is very clear! It clearly states that Jesus will return 1260 days from the moment the Antichrist sits in the Temple of God and declares himself to be God. Because there exists BOTH a known and an unknown date, many scholars have logically concluded that there must be two different events occurring . . . the Rapture where the Lord stays in the clouds and catches His people up to Him (1 Thes.4:17), and the Second Coming where the Lord come TO the Earth!
1 Thes. 4:16-17 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. (KJV) . . . The RAPTURE!!! No wrath! The Lord Jesus stays in the clouds! NOT visible to unbelievers!
Revelation 19:11-13 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. (KJV) . . . The SECOND COMING OF CHRIST to the Earth! There shall be wrath! He shall be visible to unbelievers!
Zechariah 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. (KJV) . . . The SECOND COMING OF CHRIST to the Earth! There shall be wrath! He shall be visible to unbelievers!
Jesus ascended to Heaven from the Mount of Olives (Acts 1:11), and He shall return to the same place at His Second Coming to Earth! IF you really and truly want to know the Truth . . . the Bible has it for you!
